Installation in Reinforced Concrete

Installation of magnetic sensors by conduits in reinforced concrete

The major advantage of MagSense® by MobiliSis® is that its detection capability for parking and moving vehicles is unaffected by reinforced concrete. Therefore, it can be used in areas where, for example, induction loops work very poorly or not at all!

When constructing roads or parking garages of reinforced concrete, empty conduits can already be laid between the reinforcement before it is filled with concrete. Then the magnetic sensors can be installed by feeding them into the conduits. The sensor funtioning is in no way limited by the reinforcement, even the ceiling is all-steel, MagSense® works accurately. The below pictures show an examplary installation in reinforced concrete.
